Apparel - ASSUMPTION PARISH - VRC (t-shirts)

We are finally offering up our first Assumption Parish location merchandise due to YOUR requests.  Although not quite the same design as the ones the employees of VRC wear, we created a special design just for you to show  your support for our "country" location out in the rural area of Southeast Louisiana.

Our "dirt road rescue" location in Assumption Parish (a parish is the Louisiana version of a county) is your typical "small town" atmosphere where animal control resources are extremely limited.  Like so many smaller Southern towns, the animal "shelter" is basically a dirt lot, with a few "cages/kennels" located behind the small town jail.

Villalobos Rescue Center first discovered Assumption Parish in 2011 and after realizing there were barely any animal control services let alone a way to properly house stray dogs, it didn't take but a minute for us to have the desire to help the animals of one of the smallest parishes in Louisiana.  So in 2013, we set up a small satellite location that would eventually be the start of something much grander.

In 2016, we acquired a 13 acre property through a donation and were able to start what would become "The VRC Sanctuary" and we began assisting animal control and the sheriff's dept on a larger scale.  Now permanently seated in Assumption Parish, it is home to many of our dogs, cats and employees.
